Elizabeth Lothamer

Elizabeth’s mission is to provide exceptional service in all real estate transactions by representing her clients with the highest level of integrity, honesty and professionalism. Her extensive educational and professional background in sales and marketing enable her to serve her clients with knowledge and expertise.  Working as a full time real estate agent in Chicago for over 15 years she has invaluable experience to offer.  She has worked extensively with many types of clients from first time buyers to seasoned investors.

Elizabeth has been personally involved in the purchase and renovation of foreclosure and investment properties through her development company, Lothamer Development, for the last 11 years.  This gives her a wealth of knowledge with rehab and new construction, allowing her the capability to educate her clients on cost vs. value as well as income property analysis.  With the skill set she has developed in all these areas, she is able to differentiate her services by analyzing the needs and wants of each individual client. Marta Romeo- Waliszewska

About Marta– Marta moved to Chicago from Poland when she was 12 years old, and has been enjoying the unique features of its diverse neighborhoods ever since. Before becoming an agent, she spent several years managing a restaurant on the famous “restaurant row” in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Since joining @properties in 2013 as a Broker Associate she has worked extensively with developers, learning about rehabbing and new construction. As a fluent Polish speaker, she is also uniquely suited to assist Polish clientele. Marta is a Certified Negotiation Expert, a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois, and a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Sarah Dermody

Sarah Dermody is a Chicagoland native of the Northwest Suburbs and has lived in various parts of the city, ranging from the Northside Rogers Park to the Southside Bronzeville neighborhood. She currently resides in the Avondale neighborhood and has a vast knowledge of the diverse Chicagoland neighborhoods. Sarah’s passion for buildings began at a young age being a part of her family’s construction company. With her background in the construction industry, Sarah has turned her knowledge into a Real Estate career.

Sarah is dedicated to guiding her clients through all phases of the Real Estate process, whether it’s finding a new home, parting with one, or seeking out investment properties. My husband, 2 dogs and cat reside in a Rogers Park, though I have lived in Chicago since 2007 and consider this city my home.  I am active member of my community; involved with a couple community organizations and hold the treasurer position on my condo board.  I enjoy spending time on the lakefront with my dogs, yoga, reading and exploring the incredible art & architecture of Chicago.  My husband and I love trying new food in the many neighborhoods of Chicago and embrace all the activities the city sends our way.  I can’t wait to share all I know and love about Chicago with you!

Laurel Niedospial, Marketing Director

Laurel joined Lothamer & Co early in 2019. With an extensive background in digital marketing, journalism, and education, her specific skill-set supports the team’s growing business and commitment to their clients. A native of California, while in college she studied English and journalism, going on to work as an editor of her college newspaper. After graduating, Laurel took a marketing internship at a small B2B firm in Newport Beach before starting a career as a high school English teacher in the San Francisco bay area. After moving to Chicago in 2013, Laurel transitioned from education to journalism, writing as a frequent contributor for POPSUGAR. There, she worked at supporting their digital branding and online presence through contributing to their diverse bank of writers and editors.

Working with Lothamer & Co, Laurel seeks to expand both the team’s profile, as well as the individual agents and marketing clients’ homes. Through creative problem solving, articulating a strategic marketing plan, and collaborating with team mates and clients, Laurel will help Lothamer & Co see exponential growth and business development.

When not writing or working, Laurel is a proud wife and mother who spends her free time running long distance, eating good food, and exploring her neighborhood and the city of Chicago.

Liz Kaczmarski, Operations Manager

Liz is the Operations Manager for Lothamer & Co. She makes sure the process from pre-listing to closing runs as smoothly as possible. Her attention to detail, problem-solving attitude and organizational skills are assets to the team. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning. Liz lives in the Gold Coast with her two beagles, Leonard and Baxter.
