From a young age, Elizabeth Lothamer has known the value of hard work. Growing up in Michigan, she started working odd jobs at her dad’s office at the age of 12 and continued to work throughout high school and college.
Knowing she wanted to work in the business world from an early age, in part from having been inspired by her dad, she earned her degree in marketing from Eastern Michigan University and then quickly moved to Chicago to find a career.
Encouraged by a love of real estate, between her bartending job, she took the course and passed the real estate exam. After working independently for a while, she found a team that helped her hone her skills as a broker. When she worked for a developer, the pieces really began to fall into place. In 2007 she began rehabbing condos and by 2012 her business was stronger than ever and needed to bring on more people. What started with one assistant has now grown to 2 full-time staff members and 4 full-time agents. She has flipped over 50 homes and has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers.
As an agent, Elizabeth’s mission is to provide exceptional service in all real estate transactions by representing her clients with the highest level of integrity, honesty and professionalism. Marta Romeo- Waliszewska
Marta Romeo moved to Chicago from Poland when she was 12 years old and has been enjoying the unique features of its diverse neighborhoods ever since.
Before becoming an agent, she spent several years managing a restaurant on the famous “restaurant row” in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Since joining @properties in 2013 as a Broker Associate she has worked extensively with developers, learning about rehabbing and new construction. Sarah Dermody is a Chicagoland native from the Northwest suburbs and has lived in various parts of the city, ranging from the Northside Rogers Park to the Southside Bronzeville neighborhood. She currently resides in the Avondale neighborhood and has a vast knowledge of the diverse Chicagoland neighborhoods.
Sarah’s passion for real estate began at a young age as a part of her family’s construction company. With her background in the construction industry, Sarah has turned her knowledge into a real estate career.

After graduating from Baylor University with a BS in Interior Design, she moved to Chicago and took a job as a Project Manager for a luxury design firm. This knowledge has been invaluable to her career in real estate. Because of these experiences and working in the industry through a shifting market, she has been forced to become extremely adaptable to change.
Meg is ready for whatever this ever-changing landscape of Chicago real estate brings her way. Her husband and two dogs in Rogers Park and she has lived in Chicago since 2007 and considers this city her home. She is an active member of her community as a board member of Northside Community Development Corporation, an interpreter for the Frank Loyd Wright Home and Studio and founded two networking groups.
Meg enjoys spending time on the lakefront with her dogs, yoga, reading and exploring the incredible art and architecture of Chicago. She and her husband love trying new food in the many neighborhoods of Chicago and embrace all the activities the city sends her way.

Laurel Niedospial, Marketing Director
Laurel joined Lothamer Group early in 2019 as the Marketing Director. With an extensive background in digital marketing, journalism, and education, her specific skill-set supports the team’s growing business and commitment to their clients.
A native of California, while in college she studied English and journalism, going on to work as an editor of her college newspaper. After moving to Chicago in 2013, Laurel transitioned from education to journalism, writing as a frequent contributor for POPSUGAR. There, she worked at supporting their digital branding and online presence through contributing to their diverse bank of writers and editors.
Working with Lothamer Group, Laurel seeks to expand both the team’s profile, as well as the individual agents and marketing clients’ homes. Through creative problem solving, articulating a strategic marketing plan, and collaborating with teammates and clients, Laurel helps the team see exponential growth and business development.
In September of 2019, Laurel became the newest member of Lothamer Group to have her real estate license. A lover of vintage buildings with connections to contractors, architects, and developers, she hopes to connect buyers with some of Chicago’s hidden gems. Her skills as a marketing director help her write superb listing MLS copy and engaging social media posts that get properties noticed. As a transplant to Chicago, she has taken time to get to know the city and prides herself on finding on learning as much as she can about the area.
When not working, Laurel is a proud wife and mother who spends her free time running and eating good food.
Liz Kaczmarski, Operations Manager
Liz Kaczmarski is the multi-talented Operations Manager for Lothamer Group, ensuring that each transaction runs smoothly. She makes sure the process from pre-listing to closing runs as efficiently as possible.
Her attention to detail, problem-solving attitude and organizational skills are assets to the team. As an integral member of each transactions, Kaczmarski handles everything. From introduction emails to clients, surveys, filing contracts, and keeping everyone organized, who we are as a team is greatly indebted to her considerable talents
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning. Liz lives in the Gold Coast with her two beagles, Leonard and Baxter.
Liz first became interested in real estate after graduating college and looking for her first apartment in the city. She enjoyed the process of the searching and being able to explore all of the city’s diverse neighborhoods as well as the intricacies of negotiating the deal and getting to the closing table.
In addition to her full-time job, Liz also manages rental properties for a private investor and is planning on taking her real estate brokerage exam early in 2020. In that role, her keen eye and sharp attention to detail will help her excel as an agent.
